About

This program kicked off in May 2023 to address the new migrant crisis in the city of Chicago. Our main task is to help move new arriving families into apartments and furnish their homes. This is a collaborative effort with other non-profit organizations and city & state governments. We are walking with and welcoming migrants at the “landing zone”.  We also offer them other programming, such as food distribution and connection to community resources. We will soon lead a new shelter for families in Little Village.
