Running Forward is a group of young people who strive to meet their goals on the running route and off. We run to promote a healthier lifestyle and grow in character and self-confidence. Together, participants set goals and hold one another accountable to face challenges and achieve success.

History

Running Forward was created 6 years ago as an effort to provide running programming to the youth of Little Village. Through various discussions and activities youth are able to understand who they are. Youth are able to assess their obstacles and how to overcome them. Our hope of running in Little Village is to create a running community in the neighborhood and create a healthier lifestyle for all who join.

Mondays and Tuesdays, 5-6pm with longer hours in the summer
