Happy [summer] campers!
Veteran New Life kids & volunteer — our heartbeats!
News from Humboldt Park: The after school homework program is going well. The children are coming more consistently every week and receiving excellent tutoring help and academic enrichment each day. Many of the children’s teachers have agreed to partner with us and are providing academic information and support for helping the students in the after school program. We are also able to visit each child’s classroom which builds so much trust with the students and helps the community schools in the neighborhood.

Want to find out more about what’s going on at Humboldt Park?  Join us at our benefit dinner and celebration this Saturday, November 9, from 6-8 pm.  E-mail nicholef@nullnlcenters.org for more info.

News from Cicero Softball League: The Wallens, New Life Centers’ missionaries in Cicero, have had a year to explore new ideas with the Cicero Softball League.  They also have some very exciting family news, as they will welcome their second child into their home, the place of intentional community that serves as the hub for their ministry.  Blessings on this next year, Wallens!
