Wow…

God continues to bless the work at New Life Centers and open up new doors. On Friday morning the Chicago Tribune released an article featuring two of our mentors, Jorge Roque and Benny Estrada. It is front page in the Sunday morning print edition. You can read the whole article here:

You can also see the video featuring them and the neighborhood:

Jorge and Benny have been working for over 20 years with youth in Little Village, and it is great to see positive news coverage about our work and community.

The video has had over 300K views, 5K likes and shares, and the comments and feedback have been overwhelmingly positive.

In an effort to continue to grow our work, we have started a GoFundMe campaign to raise $30,000 for another van. Thanks to everyone who helped us raise the resources for our first van. Our programming has been packed and a second van is needed to safely transport youth around the city.

Thanks again for being a vital partner in our work. We couldn’t do this work without you.

Thanks,
